About

Hi,

My name, as you may’ve guessed, is Mat Greenfield. I am currently studying Computer Science at the University of Reading in the UK and work as a Systems Analyst (as part of my placement year) at the pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly in Basingstoke.

My interests, and by extension the primary topics of this blog, include consumer technology news with a particular focus on mobile phones, programming and web technologies. My other main interest is literature, particularly classic literature, at which I attempt layman style reviews and analysis. I also occasionally write about religion (though I am not religious myself) and it’s intersection with science.

I am also a freelance journalist in my spare time, having written for a number of well-known technology websites including CNET UK and MediaKick. I also edit the ‘Science & Technology’ section of my university’s student newspaper.

Please note that this blog contains only my personal opinion and in no way reflects the opinion of my employer or anyone associated with me, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
